Venue
Sarah and her ponies don’t need much room just a small yard that is grassed and reasonably level.
A quite part of the yard is ideal where children are not playing.
Nature strips and driveways can be suitable as well.
Ensure that the area is void of over hanging branches and obstacles.
Some local reserves/hall comittees permit ponies on their grounds, you just need to enquire with your local council.
Parking
We just need a space big enough for a vehicle and horse float, preferably out of view of the children, so we can put the finishing touches on the ponies and make our arrival even more magical!
If in town outside the neighbour's house or a rear entrance is often suitable.
We will arrive half an hour early to set up and prepare the ponies.
Supervision
On arrival we do require a 'big person" or two to gather the children and walk them quietly over to the ponies where your host will introduce them to the ponies for a meet and greet session.
We ask that children wear covered in shoes ie runners, boots.
We supply safety helmets and everything the ponies need.
Weather
The welfare of our animals is our no1 priority therefore in the case of extreme heat temperatures we reserve the right to cancel, adjust and/or move the activities to a shaded area. For functions and larger events where we are operating just pony rides we reserve the right to adjust time and location of pony ride sessions or cancel. A full refund of any payments recieved will be refunded. Our hot weather policy is dependent on various factors such as shade access, travel time, pony ride time, air temperature and humidity.
In regards to wet weather, we can handle light showers but consistent rain can really jeopardize the ponies comfort.
Travel fee applies if outside 50 km radius of Buninyong with a service area limit.
We have full public liability and WWC
